The Association, founded on July 6th 2016, as explicitly stated in article 3 of its Statute , aims at promoting and developing the ideas and values which have coherently shaped and informed the whole life of Marina Diana Mercurio. In particular, the role and function of Culture, Education and Scientific Investigation, Critical thinking, Arts and Human Sciences seen not in themselves but as instruments for developing an ethical and civil commitment for understanding the importance of the coherence between his own beliefs and the personal behaviour, for increasing the respect for others, especially the weakest and most defenseless.
To pursue this goal, the Association will use the tools and methods (organization of meetings, exhibitions, conferences, institution of prizes or scholarships) which, from time to time, will consider more appropriate, also together with other associations with similar aims.
